Why is barcode technology so effective? Firstly, it helps us to manage your boxes more efficiently because it minimises the potential for human error. With a barcode reader, many items can be scanned and read without the need for a person to read and data enter numbers. This means we can guarantee we have the correct details to allow us to track your boxes. |

Secondly, it helps us to invoice you more accurately. It removes the need to estimate how many boxes you have in storage or be vague about the services we provide. We will know precisely, at every stage, and this means your invoices are always fully transparent and accurate. |

Thirdly, we can track your boxes more quickly, so when time is of the essence, we can locate it and pick it up within minutes. |

At Sargents, we believe the best possible solution to the management and storage of your records is a highly customer- focused approach supported by the latest technology. We don’t insist that you order items using our barcode numbers; we will
hold your box numbers and catalogue information about your box. And, although the barcode allows us to offer completely randomised storage within our 200,000 ft of warehouse capacity, we still allow you the flexibility to tell us how you want your boxes to be stored. This may be spread across a number of warehouses, all in the same warehouse, or even all in a specified number order in the warehouse. |
